Guatemala boys

Admittedly, this is an old photo from my last trip to Guatemala in 2003. I show this because most of the kids in the photo are being fairly photogenic in the shot. This has always been a challenge for me when taking photos of people, having them look good & making it interesting.  My experience going to third world countries has been such that either they really want you to take their photo, they absolutely don’t want their photo taken or they want you to pay them for the honor of having their photo taken. Thankfully in this photo, they wanted to be there & also I think they all were kind of cute 🙂
