When I originally took this photo I thought it would be cool in a monochrome color scheme. But when I worked with it, the subtlety of a few deep hues seemed to work better. The photo was taken over on the Olympic Peninsula at Lake Crescent. On that day, the typical western Washington gray hues were occurring which this photo lends to that typical mood.
