Living in Eastern Washington, we are blessed with an overabundance of sagebrush. Normally I treat it as a pesky weed that lands in my yard on particularly windy days. Last week I climbed up above my home & was able to see the beauty with the contrast of bright blue winter sky, dusty sagebrush, and the snow-capped Cascade mountains.
I grew up in Eastern OR right outside Walla Walla – have a lot of family around Touchet, WA – is that by you? From the looks of it, seems more like the Tri Cities.
I live just outside of Yakima. A better view of the Cascades here than in the TriCities 🙂
