Waimea, kauai, Hawaii has been a favorite location my family’s for years
And so when we were back in Kauai this past March, Waimea was on the places to visit
Waimea means “red water” & literally there is red dirt everywhere which makes for red water & red shirts 🙂
Gateway to the Waimea canyon or the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, its a great place to enjoy the beauty of the south side of the island
But for me, I love Waimea because it’s small town Hawaii. A place to see how the locals live. A place to experience the real side of Kauai
