Between the 13th & 14th centuries, twenty four monasteries were built high upon isolated rocks in central Greece
Only six of those monasteries are still active today which is amazing considering the difficult access to their location
Our last full day in Greece gave us an opportunity to experience the beauty of these monasteries but also to be in awe of the faithfulness of these people of God
