Last September we tried to conquer the Dungeness Spit
Jetting out 5 miles from the Olympic Peninsula into the Strait of Juan de Luca, this spit is a refuge for birds galore
Views of the Olympics, Washington & Canadian Cascades can be found on this beach trek
Although we didn’t make it to the end of the spit, I think we will still call the day a success with all the sights, sounds & amazing weather we had on our day in September
