When my cousin Julie asked me last year if I would ever be interested in traveling together, I jumped at the chance
It took us over a year to get our schedules to align but we finally were able to make it happen a few weeks ago
We both had wanted to experience Charleston, South Carolina so off to the south we headed
Both of us had never been to Charleston so it was fun share this new experience of the south
The “Holy City” as Charleston is known is rich in history (the Civil War started here) but also rich in hospitality
Fort Sumter, colorful houses, many churches, amazing food (we ate our way through Charleston!), our long weekend was full of fun activities
It was a great weekend getting to know my cousin a bit more & I hope Julie & I are able to go on adventures in the future
