There’s a lovely area north of where I live that has wonderful cross country skiing in the winter. Icicle creek is near the town of Leavenworth where you can get your fill of touristy shops or head out to the great outdoors. Iphone camera in hand today, I chose to enjoy the trails, the sun & a few great hours of exercise.
