Part of the joy of living in central Washington is the proximity to the Cascade Mountains. Last week when a friend was visiting, we ventured up to Clear Lake which is on the eastern side of White Pass. The lake was pristine, the weather wonderful & the photo opportunities plentiful.

My favorite is the close-up of the pine needles. Very clean with a nice sense of depth!
