As I do more work with macro photography, it becomes more evident how interesting the world is close up. Isn’t that the way with our lives also. We quickly speed through our days and fail to enjoy the beauty that invades our everyday lives. This tree stump just lay off the path near Clear Lake in the Central Cascades of Washington State. When you looked close up, the colors of the sap glistened in the sun making a barren stump look rather beautiful.
