Passing through the gates into Magdalen College in Oxford, England you sense the history of this place. Great minds have passed through these gates. Oscar Wilde, Tolkien, C. S. Lewis are just a few. In fact, Tolkien discipled Lewis on the now infamous Addison’s walk. Although still within the city, the deer population flourishes oblivious to the hustle outside the walls of the college & oblivious to the history of this place.
