High in the Andes of Ecuador is Volcan Cotopaxi. Sitting at over 19,000 feet, its impressive stature looms over Quito and much of the surrounding area. So often when I have been to Ecuador, Cotopaxi has been elusive. Last month it came out in its full glory. Wandering around at 12,000 at its base, it was amazing to see the varied foliage & the wild horses. Special thanks to my niece Olivia for the first photo & for my teammate Kamil for taking the last photo.
