I feel a bit spoiled. I’ve done the trek three times from Cusco, through the Sacred Valley, by the Urubamba river, through the jungle to first Agua Calientes & then up the steep mountain side to Machu Picchu.
What were the Incas thinking? Moving these huge boulders to build this fortress perched on the the top of this mountain top.
I will always be amazed at this place that they call sacred, one of the seven wonders of the world.
