Tamaracks

untitled-4-EditIf you live in an area where hardwoods are predominant, tamarack trees are a bit of an oddity.untitled-13-EditThese pine tree needles turn golden & the needles are shed in the fall of the year. This makes for an amazing array of color in the pine forests of northern Idaho in the autumn. untitled-7-Edituntitled-18-EditCamp Lutherhaven on Lake Couer d’Alene provided me several weeks ago an opportunity to photograph the amazing colors of these pine trees. untitled-15-Edituntitled-14-Edit
