They call this city “The White City” with all the white volcanic stone that the city is built of & on
Arequipa is a colonial city, full of rich history & architecture
My love for this city high in the Peruvian Andes started 10 years ago when I first came here on a medical mission
Fast forward 10 years & I’m back again with Medical Ministry International on another medical mission with a different niece
Once again, Arequipa captured my heart with its mountains, sights & people

I was in Arequipa about 15 years ago. Your post makes me want to go back! I couldn’t see the Misti well because of hazy weather. It looks great in your photos.
