I had a few days this fall before getting to a conference so I went to a bucket list destination, Mackinac Island 
I had heard of this famed location since my days of living in Wisconsin 
Sitting between the Great Lakes of Michigan & Huron, Mackinac Island is a magical location where no locomotives are allowed 
As you wander around whether by bike or buggy, the Victorian homes enchant you & the Grand Hotel lives up to its name 
Unfortunately, I didn’t partake in the famous Mackinac fudge during my venture so I think another journey may loom in my future đŸ™‚ 
So as I headed back to the mainland & watched the massive Mackinac bridge pass by, the beauty of area was evident & I was glad that I had the opportunity to visit this Michigan treasure
