Who really lives at 13,500 feet? These proud people of Peru who I had the honor of meeting last month in Peru. A hardy lot, a strong people who can breathe easier than I can at this high altitude. These Andean people who live a hard life but are proud of their young doctor who comes from their village, who work hard in their fields, who welcome us with their national anthem but also needs our help & our prayers as they struggle in their daily journey.
