English speakers snicker when the Quechua pronounce the Inca fortress “Sexy Woman”. But this is no place to snicker at high above Cusco, Peru. They say the Inca proclaimed this the head of the holy places in their sacred city. It is truly amazing how they built this rock fortress without mortar so many years ago & yet it has remained a witness to Inca engineering finesse.
