I grew up just south of the Palouse and I really don’t think I appreciated the beauty of the area when I was there.
Its a land of winter wheat, rolling hills & those universities that call themselves Cougars & Vandals.
Last weekend I was able to spend a few hours wandering around those rolling hills of eastern Washington & northern Idaho & was able to capture a little of the beauty as these hills wake up from their winter slumber & their color bursts forth.

Love these pictures. More proof that eastern Washington isn’t all brown like some think of it.
