So we decided to do a new adventure, my friend & I. After creating our bucket lists, slimming them down, we decided that this year, we were heading to Eleuthera, Bahamas.
Two hundred fifty miles southeast of Miami & sixty miles east of Nassau, Eleuthera stretches nearly one hundred miles from north to south.
After landing on an unlit runway & going through customs in a rather rugged setting, I knew this may be a bit of second world experience.
Our directions from “Big Daddy’s Rental Car” were to take 3 lefts after going over 2 speed bumps. And so the adventure started of discovering the island of Eleuthera.
We may have not expected to almost hit a herd of cows that first night or expected to get lost as we navigated those dark roads without a trusty GPS.
But behind the darkness, we soon discovered the beauty of Eleuthera.
