Arequipa, Peru is full of amazing colonial archictecture
The Monasterio de Santa Catalina is one of Arequipa’s treasures
Only a few short blocks from where our medical team stayed, we had the opportunity to visit one evening
As we ventured around the hallowed walls of this fortress, we appreciated the beauty & also the sacred history
Even having a little fun with a “sacred orange”, it was a good respite from the busyness of a day in the clinic
